This interesting letter dated June 15, 1982 by Cartoonist Yesudasan was sent to us recently by Thomas Kodenkandath, who's popularly known as Cartoonist Thommy. The letter is a reply sent to him for his first ever cartoon submission, which Yesudasan accepted and published in his magazine - Asadhu.

Thommy who considers Yesudasan his mentor in cartooning, says: "The letter is so dear to me, and decorated the first page of my cartoon workbook/colletion of cartoons to learn from....which I found after 25 years during my recent visit to my home in Kerala. I think this letter is the best testiment to know  how Yesudasan inspired younger cartoonists."
